The Five Bells in Claypole, near Newark, Nottinghamshire has been run and owned by Martin and Kay Finney since 1999. A Full Bar and Restaurant refurbishment was undertaken in the summer of 2010. 

The Five Bells has maintained its village pub atmosphere and appeal, while having a clean, bright and modern feel.  Having been awarded the prestigious 5 Star Food Hygiene Award consistently by South Kesteven District Council.

The Five Bells has also won the local Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) award an impressive three times. Including retaining its 2012 award for 2013. This year going on to win CAMRA Pub of the Year for Lincolnshire.

Four excellent Bed and Breakfast Rooms are situated behind the pub. An excellent nights sleep in a quite village and brilliant home cooked Full English Breakfasts are another of the Five Bells treats.


To the rear of The Five Bells is a large car park and a wonderful grassed children's play area surrounded by seating so that the adults can keep an eye on their little ones. The Gardeners Arms, the Five Bells beer garden bar is also perfectly placed for lazy summer afternoons with family and friends..
